Individuals may use their personal funds (or personal credit card) to pay expenses when traveling on behalf of a PAC or party committee and may be reimbursed by the committee for those expenses. The board must report employee or volunteer reimbursement and provide information on actual travel vendors based on the amount spent.

MMB and party committees report travel reimbursements under the category “Other federal operating expenses” on Form 3X, line 21 (b). Reporting travel reimbursement depends on the amount of reimbursement.
If the total amount of reimbursement for travel or entertainment expenses is $500 or less, the committee must report to the person receiving the reimbursement.
On line 21(b), the Board reports Alexander’s reimbursement payment, address, date of reimbursement, amount, and specific purpose of payment under “Travel Reimbursement: See below.”
The board includes memorabilia for original travel retailers, Schuyler Inn and Star Airlines. The text records include the seller’s address, Alexander’s initial payment, the amount and specific purpose of the payment, “Advice” and “Airline ticket” and notes saved.
