Mn Real Estate License Classes – The requirements to become a Minnesota realtor are simple: you must be at least 18 years old, complete a 90-hour approved pre-licensing course of study, find a Minnesota licensed broker to contact, and pass the licensing exam.

After completing the 30-hour Course I, you can apply for the Minnesota Real Estate Salesperson Exam.

Visit the Pearson VUE website to find a test center near you and make an online exam reservation. The exam will cost $63, payable to Pearson VUE by credit card, electronic check, or voucher. You can also call (833) 273-1946 to schedule an exam.

The Minnesota state exam is divided into two parts. The general section covers national topics and takes 2.5 hours to complete. The state portion covers topics specific to Minnesota and has 1.5 hours to complete. You must take and pass both parts of the exam with a score of 75 or higher.

Immediately after completing the exam, candidates receive a result report with a grade of “pass” or “fail”. To pass the general exam, you must pass both sections of the exam. If you fail one section, you can only retake the failed section.
