Visit the Pearson VUE website to find a test center near you and make an online exam reservation. The exam will cost $63, payable to Pearson VUE by credit card, electronic check, or voucher. You can also call (833) 273-1946 to schedule an exam.
The Minnesota state exam is divided into two parts. The general section covers national topics and takes 2.5 hours to complete. The state portion covers topics specific to Minnesota and has 1.5 hours to complete. You must take and pass both parts of the exam with a score of 75 or higher.
Immediately after completing the exam, candidates receive a result report with a grade of “pass” or “fail”. To pass the general exam, you must pass both sections of the exam. If you fail one section, you can only retake the failed section.

My husband noticed the Real Estate U Groupon deal and he said I should check it out. To be honest, at first I thought it must be too good to be true. But after reading and researching the reviews, I was like, “What the hell?!” For the price, I really didn’t have much to lose.
I am so happy I took the leap of faith! I loved the auditory learning and the fact that I could literally take it with me wherever I went! I finished in 3 months! Trust me when I say if I can do it, you can do it. I am a very busy mother of 3 and they all have extracurricular activities, but somehow I buckle down and get it done.
I took a live prep class at a local real estate school to cover all the bases. I reviewed all the quizzes from all the chapters to prepare. My advice would be to take your time when testing. I was so nervous but I took my time because I knew the material, I just had to take my time!
Real Estate Agent Expenses
I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t had the great opportunity to complete my real estate licensing course through Real Estate U! I highly recommend the Real Estate U course. In fact, my oldest son has also decided to take the course!
I currently work as a part-time real estate agent at Century 21 APD Associates in the beautiful city of El Paso, Texas. I wanted to get into real estate to be my own boss and I was looking forward to making a 6 figure income. I closed my first deal in October and plan to close my second this December.
To get the license I chose . The courses were very helpful in passing the state and national exam in the first attempt. I love that I was able to learn at my own pace and I could use my mobile phone to access the courses on the go or while waiting for a doctor’s appointment with my kids.
I was able to go back and listen over and over to the parts I didn’t get from the beginning. This is something that would not be provided in a classroom setting. If you want to get your license, just persevere and don’t give up on your dream! I was able to invest in this course and more than triple my profit on the first house I sold shortly after getting my real estate license.

If you think you’ll like it, try it and take a chance. Why not take a chance on something that can double or triple your income. Take the opportunity to get your license, which is honestly the easy part. And then get involved in the process, helping clients and customers get what they want, which is a great home buying/selling experience.
I am (still am) a licensed auto insurance claims adjuster for a large insurance company. I held this position for 7.5 years. My family dynamic changed and my husband or I needed to be home more for our blended family of 5 children.
Real estate allows me to adjust my schedule so that I can devote time to my children and their activities. I will be working for LIV Realty in Frisco, TX and will be working full time. My future goals are to continue to learn, network and grow my business. I plan to become a broker one day.
I liked the ease of the course. I was able to easily navigate and pick up where I left off each day. If I had any questions, I got a response from the support team very quickly. I was able to learn and retain information easily. The workbook and glossary were easy to follow and allowed me to print them out to take with me if I couldn’t use my laptop. I liked that the course was also available from a mobile phone. We had a road trip planned across the United States and I was able to study on my cell phone as we traveled through 9 states. I have already recommended the course to some of my friends!

Thank you so much for your help over the last few weeks. I am in a hurry to finish the course because I am so excited to start working in this field as a NYS Realtor. I thought it would hurt me in the end when I was ready to test, but I feel like I retained a lot of information and I’m happy with the results.
