Phd Scholarships In Usa For Pakistani Students – The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is pleased to announce the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Scholarship Program for the academic year 2021. Pakistan/AJK students can apply for a fully funded scholarship in the United States of America through the US Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Scholarship Program. . This is a fully funded scholarship to study in America for higher studies and research.
The program was launched by the United States of America President Obama and the Prime Minister of Pakistan in the midst of the Education, Science and Technology Working Group (ESTWG) dialogue under the Bilateral Strategy. The aim of this US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor is to encourage Pakistani talents to study and obtain PhD degrees from United States universities. Under this program 10000 students from Pakistan will be selected to study in US universities in the next 10 years.

HEC Pakistan announces different foreign scholarships for Pakistani students to study abroad and gain international knowledge. The purpose of International Study Abroad with Fully Funded HEC Scholarships is to enhance and promote education in Pakistan. Study in the US is a bright opportunity for Pakistani students from HEC through the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Scholarship Program.

Applicants interested in studying in the USA through the HEC US-Pakistani Knowledge Corridor must meet the following eligibility criteria;
US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Scholarship by HEC is offered to Pakistani students to study and scholarships in USA in all fields of study. All programs are available in this scholarship program and students are encouraged to choose the one most relevant to their interest. B. Email the relevant prospective professor and show your willingness to study or work under his/her tutelage and ask for a letter of support, pre-admission letter or letter of acceptance.

The Fulbright Masters and PhD program funds graduate studies in the United States. Funded by the United States Department of State, these grants cover tuition, required textbooks, airfare, living stipend, and health insurance. Also helps with visa processing.

For Master’s degree programme, eligible candidates possess a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a combination of Bachelor’s and Master’s with a total of 16 years of formal education from a recognized university. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, except for MBA and Public Policy/Administration applicants who require 2 years of work experience.
For the PhD degree programme, eligible candidates possess a Master’s, M.Phil or comparable degree (minimum 18 years of formal education) from a recognized university. It is highly desirable that candidates have teaching, research or work experience in the public sector in Pakistan.
For Master’s and PhD programs, all academic disciplines except clinical medicine are eligible. All applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE General). Under the new scoring system, a minimum score of 145 is required in each section of the GRE test, with the highest score in the section most applicable to your field of study. Applicants must have a high level of fluency in spoken and written English. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required from all selected candidates.
All successful candidates are required to sign an agreement with HEC to return to Pakistan immediately after their program in the US and serve the country for an equivalent number of years and their scholarship program for successful PhD candidates. This contract is renewable on a minimum two-year basis from year to year; As long as a person fulfills the service requirement, he or she pays nothing.
Us Fulbright Scholarship For Pakistani Students 2023
Applications are accepted in January/February each year and the deadline to apply is around April/May. The application review and interview process will continue until September and the results will be announced in mid-October. After selection, the university submission and placement process continues till February and visa interviews till June. Departures to the U.S. begin in July and later dates will be reported by universities.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Application should be submitted online along with references and necessary supporting documents. Please note that paper applications will not be accepted. Foreign scholarships for Pakistani students are now open through Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust Foreign Scholarship Program 2021. There is a bright option.
